At NG Parrots, we are committed to providing healthy, well-cared-for birds and a safe, reliable buying experience. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights and what to expect if a bird arrives deceased, seriously ill, or not as advertised.

Note: This policy is publicly available in English, applies to all products sold in the United States, and does not require any login or personal account to access.

1. Overview

Due to the nature of live animals, all sales are final, except under the limited circumstances outlined below. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

  • Refunds may only be issued if:
    • The bird arrives deceased (DOA).
    • The bird has a serious, verifiable health issue confirmed by a licensed avian veterinarian.
    • The bird delivered is not the bird that was advertised or ordered.

2. Dead on Arrival (DOA)

  • Notify us within 2 hours of delivery.
  • Provide clear photos and/or video evidence.
  • Keep the bird in its original shipping box and condition.
  • Failure to report a DOA within the time frame voids eligibility for a refund or replacement.

3. Health Guarantee

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery for any serious health issues.
  • Provide a written diagnosis from a licensed avian veterinarian.
  • NG Parrots may offer, at our discretion:
    • Replacement bird
    • Store credit
    • Partial or full refund

4. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
  • Allergies, noise complaints, or behavioral expectations
  • Stress-related conditions caused by improper care
  • Failure to be present for delivery
  • Improper housing, feeding, or handling after arrival

5. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled before the bird is shipped.
  • Once shipping begins, cancellations are no longer possible.
  • Any breeder preparation or administrative fees may be deducted.

6. Marketplace & Third-Party Sellers

  • NG Parrots operates as an online marketplace connecting buyers and breeders.
  • Policies apply to all US transactions unless stated otherwise on the listing.
  • We reserve the right to mediate disputes fairly and transparently.

7. Shipping & Delays

  • NG Parrots is not responsible for delays caused by weather, airlines, customs, or carrier disruptions.
  • We work closely with breeders and carriers to ensure the safest delivery possible.

8. International Orders

  • Buyers are responsible for import permits, customs clearance, and local regulations.
  • Shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will not be issued for seizures or delays caused by customs authorities.
