About Us

Every bird comes with complete documentation. You receive veterinary health certificates, DNA test results, feeding history, and care instructions. We provide information on the bird’s parents, hatch date, and personality observations we’ve made during their time with us.

Our veterinary partners specialize in avian medicine. Regular check-ups during the raising period catch any potential issues early. We only place birds that meet our health standards.

International Shipping

We work with customers in the USA, UK, Europe, Australia, Canada, Asia, and the Middle East. International bird shipping requires specific permits, health certificates, and customs documentation. We handle these requirements and coordinate with transport specialists experienced in live bird cargo. Each country has different import regulations for exotic birds. We only ship to locations where we can ensure legal compliance and safe delivery.

The process takes time because proper documentation matters. We walk you through each step and keep you updated on progress. Our transport partners use climate-controlled vehicles and follow protocols designed for bird welfare. Birds travel in appropriate carriers with food and water access. We schedule shipments to minimize travel time and avoid extreme weather conditions.

After Your Bird Arrives

Our relationship with customers continues after delivery. Questions come up about diet changes, behavior, training, or health concerns. We’re here to help because we raised your bird and know their individual history. We provide feeding schedules based on what the bird has been eating with us. Sudden diet changes can cause digestive upset, so we recommend gradual transitions. If you want to introduce new foods, we can guide you on safe options and proper portions. Behavioral questions are common in the first few weeks. Birds need time to adjust to new surroundings. We help you understand what’s normal settling-in behavior versus something that needs attention. Our goal is successful long-term placements, not just completed sales.

We're the breeders

We’re the breeders.

When you buy from NG Parrots, you’re working directly with the people who hatched and raised your bird. There are no middlemen or brokers. We can answer specific questions about your bird’s personality, preferences, and history because we’ve spent months with them.

Our facility focuses on quality over quantity. We maintain a manageable number of breeding pairs so each clutch gets proper attention. Mass production doesn’t work for raising companion birds. These are long-lived animals that need individual care during development. We’re honest about species requirements.

If you’re considering a bird that doesn’t match your lifestyle or experience level, we’ll tell you. A successful placement benefits everyone, including the bird. We’d rather help you choose the right species than make a sale that leads to problems later.

Our Commitment to Education

We believe informed owners create better homes for parrots. Our website includes care guides, species information, and answers to common questions.

We’re developing additional resources on training, nutrition, and health topics. When you contact us about purchasing a bird, expect questions. We ask about your experience with birds, your daily schedule, household environment, and long-term plans. This isn’t about being difficult. It’s about matching birds with appropriate homes where they’ll thrive. First-time bird owners receive extra guidance.

We explain realistic expectations for noise levels, mess, time commitment, and costs. Parrots can live 30 to 50 years, depending onthe species. That’s a serious commitment, and people should understand what they’re getting into.

Looking Forward

We continue improving our breeding practices and facility. Avian care research advances, and we stay current with new findings on nutrition, enrichment, and health management. Our veterinary partnerships help us access the latest information on disease prevention and treatment. Customer feedback shapes how we operate. When someone tells us what worked well or what could be clearer in our instructions, we listen. The birds we place today influence how we raise the next generation. Our focus remains on producing healthy, well-adjusted companion birds and supporting the people who bring them home. That’s what we’ve always done, and it’s what we’ll keep doing.

Our Facility

Our breeding operation is located in Canada, where we maintain climate-controlled aviaries designed for parrot health and comfort. Each breeding pair has appropriate space with natural lighting, perches at varying heights, and enrichment items. Chicks are moved to our nursery area after hatching. This space allows for frequent human interaction while maintaining proper temperature and humidity. We use proven hand-feeding formulas and follow strict hygiene protocols to prevent disease transmission. The weaning area introduces birds to different foods, toys, and experiences. Birds in this stage have supervised time outside their enclosures for flight practice and social interaction. This is where they learn to navigate perches, explore new items, and build confidence.
